There are not many places in the world that are equally worshiped by followers of Orthodox, Catholic and Muslim religions. The Montenegrin monastery Ostrog, carved into the rock at 900 meters above sea level, is one such place. Here it doesn’t matter who you are, only the reason for your coming. The Monastery is placed against an almost vertical background, high up in the large rock of Ostroska Greda, in Montenegro. It was built in the 17th century by Bishop St. Vasilije. He was one of the four Montenegrin saints and his relics are kept in the Monastery.
